Pedodontics is the branch of dental medicine that deals with maintaining oral and dental health in children. It includes the specific treatment of milk teeth and permanent young teeth.
Certain diseases of the milk teeth can cause disorders in the development of permanent teeth and in the harmonious development of the dental arch, so it is very important to pay attention to the prevention and treatment of dental disorders in children.
In our cabinet we offer the following treatments:
- obturation of milk and young teeth

- prophylactic treatments – seals, fluoridations, training of children on the correct brushing technique
The first visit to the dentist forms the attitude towards the dental treatment of the future patient for life. Both parents and the dentist are responsible for making this first experience a pleasant one. A friendly environment along with the least traumatic treatment plan are the main factors for which children will have a pleasant first experience with a dentist and will return to our office with pleasure.
Every child should get acquainted with the dentist as early as possible (2-3 years of age) and not come to the clinic only when the tooth hurts. In children any caries lesion progresses at a very rapid rate so that in a very short time, a simple decay, little visible in the oral cavity, can endanger the life of a newly erupted tooth. It is advisable to take the children to regular check-ups at least every 6 months, in order to detect in time any kind of problems and to be able to apply simple treatments, adapted to the specific age.
